James Q. Delgadillo, MD

Our Medical Director, Dr. James Delgadillo is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Doctor who graduated with a degree in Human Biology (concentration in Human Performance and Physiology) from Stanford University. Before attending Medical school, Dr. Delgadillo earned a Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University, after which he completed Medical School at Case Western University. He worked as a Resident in Emergency Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia- Cornell before returning to his hometown of Sacramento where he completed a Fellowship in Medical Education and Simulation at UC Davis Health.
Dr. Delgadillo currently works part- time in the Emergency Department at the Veterans Hospital at Mather, and has volunteer clinical faculty privileges at UC Davis Health. As part of his interest in Medical Simulation, Dr. Delgadillo is on the Medical Oversight Board for SimX, a virtual reality medical simulation company.

Peter Din, DO

Dr. Din was born and raised in South Land Park, Sacramento. After graduating from the local C.K. McClatchy High School, he went on to study cellular and molecular biology at Humboldt State University. Before attending medical school, Dr. Din conducted stem cell research at Stanford University with a grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine. He graduated from medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Residency program at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie Pennsylvania where he became the Chief resident of the Family Medicine program and received the “Top 40 Physicians under 40” Award by the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He became board certified in Family Medicine and went on to work in Erie as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist.
After 10 years living on the East coast, Dr. Din decided to move back to his hometown of Sacramento. He works full time as a primary care physician at Capitol Family Medical Associates.
